Stuff I'm bringing to Aberdeen - just to confirm

RE: Stuff I OOPS! Sorry, messed up the names on my end - you got the rims, gimpyrobb. I confused you with Armada because he emailed me about something else -715 that I have for him. I corrected the above list. Armada and AMGeneral, please post and confirm that you want me to bring the...

took my my 6x6 and track for a ride sunday

The roller was put in place on the half-tracks to help roll the front end of the rig out of deep ditches. Seems a lot of drivers early on got stuck attempting to cross ditches at a 90-degree angle, the rig would nose in and that's all she wrote. After placing the roller on the front, the...

    Fillin' the gap??

RE: Fillin Looks like there are at least two bolt holes you can use to mount a flat piece of steel over the area. Don't weld anything in, because that gap was provided for a possible reason - to allow access to the taillight wiring for mods, etc.

Register for the East Coast Convoy!

C'mon people, we only got a couple weeks left, and I notice that as of this minute, there are 28 trucks listed on the ECC website. This is great news, but I know that the first ECC in 2003 had about 34 trucks attending. You'd think that with the increased interest at Steel Soldiers into the...

    Five Inches in Three Hours!

That's a LOT of rain. Glad to see you were able to help out your local folks in the flood. Does a lot for our hobby, too, gives us great PR, proving that we're not a bunch of Rambo-wannabees with our OD rigs and all. Plus, its a Christian thing to do! :)

    Looking for a Ramcharger

There is a guy named Soni Honneger (sp?) who builds mil-spec offroad vehicles. He built up a Ramcharger in the late 1980s, it was featured in Four Wheeler magazine TWICE (I have the issued at home) in the early 1990s, in two different forms. It was my dream truck for many years. Ironically...
