I wouldn't think that pattern would be too effective - the edges are too straight, too hard. You need a mottled soft edge between colors to make the scheme seem natural...
Thanks for the words of encouragement guys - I made good progress today too, will post some pics shortly. At this pace, I will get the rig completed, but I don't think the rear compartment will be completed. Just the cab and the exterior. Just not enough time.
Yup - got my fair share of...
Fix it. It'll be some work, but trust me, if you scrap it you'll wish a year from now that you didn't. Everyone regrets the truck or toy they sold/traded/scrapped down the road
Re: RE: Progress on -725 this weekend
Thanks, yeah I recommend taking the front apart when you're doing your truck bumper. I really didn't need to, but I'm glad I did. The -715 series has a distinctive looking, but oddly designed front valence that is open to all the junk that can blow in or...
Made some progress on the -725.
First, the bad news - the tire shop is having problems removing the run-flat inserts on the 11.00x16 XLs that came off the Marine LAV. They can't remove them, so they will be giving back to me to remove. I now know how to, but it's a PITA. Then, I'll have to...

It's a nice setup - if you're still concerned about height, why not mount the antenna braket to the side of the bed, or to the top of the front bumper?
Except for the one time I painted a M416 trailer with a case of rattle cans, this is the first time I will be painting up a truck using a spray gun and a compressor. Will be wire-brushing the truck tomorrow as good as I can, and spraying red oxide primer. Questions:
1. How long do I have to...
Does anyone have a close-up photo of the correct way to attach the choke cable to the carb? My manual is a little vague, and my brain is a little small. Thanks.
I have spots there already, em - Blue K4-K5. And yes, I know no staking. That's why I bring 5-gallon buckets to fill with water (5 gallons weighs over 40 lbs).
Me and my camping buddy are looking for a GP Small or a Command Tent to borrow for use in the show. Nothing fancy, just want some green shelter. Anyone have one that we can borrow?
