MACK 7 ton NO any out there

There aren't that many left, most were scrapped years ago after the war. Those two TT mentioned are probably the only ones on the East Coast that isn't in a museum.

    Winch, Adelmans, Canton, Ohio

Wow. Another yard to drool over. Any pipeline deuces in there? That's a great looking 5-ton truck there.

    My First Deuce

Very nice truck! I'm not too familar with the M211/M135 series trucks; are the data plates in the cab supposed to be mounted right there by the steering wheel? Most of the rigs I have seen that are Vietnam era or later have them mounted flat on the dash or near the glovebox.

    POR 15

All the good rust preventers and converters are expensive. What gets REALLY expensive is the fact that the POR 15 works best when you use it with POR15 paint, which doubles the cost.

    M35a2 Shop Van Conversion

Colemans has a M109 shop van body for $350, Shawn quoted me that last October. Not too far from you in Millersburg, PA.

I'll try wearing a hat with a nametag on the side. I got that idea from nickd at the Jim Thorpe show in Feb.

Anyone recommend a HVLP paint gun?

I should add that I don't want a Chinese special. I want a good quality tool, something to last awhile...

Anyone recommend a HVLP paint gun?

Anyone know of a good deal on a good quality HVLP paint gun setup, both for primer and paint use? End of the month is paint time, and I'm in the market for a good gun.

    Roof over her head now

Nice little carport, good enough for maintenence purposes, and to keep the cancer-causing agents (like RAIN) off of her. :)

    Daisy chain towing deuces

That looks scary. I wouldn't recommend that. Not to mention, with a full sized trailer and a towed deuce back there, if something were to go wrong in transit, it would be hard to see what's going on back there. Is that even legal?

    Weatherstipping Source

I am interested in weatherstripping as well, but for the -725 ambulance version. My seals all around are dry rotted.

Cool M715 and M135 on Alfa Heaven

They are not for sale, but they sure are good solid builds! Here's the pages for the M715 dump with a 455cid: http://www.alfaheaven.com/Military%20Section/TZarmy/TZTrkPages/JeepPg.html And here's a restored M135 with a plow setup, very sweet...

Looking for M34 Little John Rocket Launcher

That's going to be a rare bird to find parts for. Trucks and trailers are one thing, but Uncle Sam tends to really demil ANY parts for launching equipment of any type. The fact that it's been out of service for 40 years will make it all the momre difficult. Good luck in your search....

Progress on the -725, ready for assembly

RE: Re: RE: Progress on the -725, ready for assembly FerroEquinologist: the rig will be primed and painted in place, mainly because it is so torn apart now, it will be easier to grind and sand it down, prime and paint it, then build back up, than it will be to rebuild, inspected, driven to...

    Unimog Snow Plow

Unimogs are great pieces on ingenuity. It's no wonder they have a following. Cool pieces of engineering, wish there were more of them around. There's a guy just north of here, does cable TV and power cable installations in remote locations up in the hills. He has a couple 1970s and later...
