    My M756 pipeline truck bed

Those are some really cool pics. What was wrong with the bed you had before? Looks like you had a pipeline bed, and replaced it with a pipeline bed? Either way, the refurbished one looks great!

On the road to work today...

A far cry from the tractors they used to use in the Civil War - like horse-drawn artillery!

    Determining Tire Age

Thanks, Chris - very informative. I think this may be a "must have" to print out and bring when tire shopping at MV shows and MV graveyards, hopefully will prevent a few of those nasty tire blowouts like you see here every so often.

Can you post this in the video section of the website? Love to download it, but seems Google won't allow it for this link.

    Govt Waste? Not necessarily!

Think that M113 is gonna go up for sale? That would definitely be a prize!

    Source for sand/beadblasting media?

I have had zero luck in my area (22630) finding a source for beadblasting media, or black beauty for sandblasting work. I called all the Yellow Page listed places that do sandblasting, and they only perform the service, they don't sell products. Nor will they say they get theirs. The hardware...

Anyone got pics of the trailers and surplus in question?

    Jet Powered M-3 Stuart

That's kinda neat, but a shame they had to cut up a perfectly good Stuart to make this. Perhaps it wasn't so bad, and they found the drivetrain and lower hull only, and modified it. Either way, it's kinda cool. Does this rig still survive? Anyone know?

Unknown items I saw at Colemans - please help ID

I'm not feelin' the love here, guys. I'll take a closer look at those items when I go back next Friday, maybe pick them up if I can get them cheap enough.

SS Demand for 20-ton rough terrain crane?

Okay, never mind - I won't ask on the crane. Apparently there is no interest in keeping these beasts operational, and for, what I hear, good reason.

Unknown items I saw at Colemans - please help ID

Are you sure about the second one? I didn't get a close look at the second item, but I can tell you they didn't look big enough to be a standard gun shield for ACAV use.

    Lacrosse

Neat page - lotsa info on a little known deuce variant and what it carried. Any of these survive in museums? How about it's bigger brother the Honest John rocket?

Picture from Colemans trip - MV stuff needs to get rescued!

He has about 10 employees, and he is FAR from going out of business. Shawn is about 40-45, so not old. Just cleaning up the yard from the mess his old man made when his father ran the business.

Picture from Colemans trip - MV stuff needs to get rescued!

Not VA. PA. Millersburg, PA. The stuff in trailers is mostly small stuff that Shawn can sell in his catalog business. But for the most part, the MV parts are being scrapped, not saved.

    bumper numbers

80th Brigade, 1st Armored Division. 1st ArDiv served in various theatres since 1932, including WWII, Korea, Vietnam (a few units within 1ArDiv served there, and were returned after the war), and Desert Storm. They are currently active in Iraq at the present time. I can't find details...

Picture from Colemans trip - MV stuff needs to get rescued!

Some things I found that I didn't take pics of, thanks to dead batteries in the camera, were 300 amp 28volt voltage regulators, untested 28 volt ambulance sirens, whole pile of them deuce tailgates new, but weathered, air-ride seats for newer deuces and 5-tonners winch for HMMWV S-250 shelters...
