Another tidbit of advice that will help members and moderators (save time too) is to NOT post when you've been drinking. This is called PUI, and is a violation of the rules. You know who you are.
You do not seem to understand the original design to make such a statement.
One other real consideration with the original system that we as private owners do not have is, the Government has a much larger budget than we do(aka money does not matter).
Absolutely incorrect.
More part number for the same relay
Replaces:
Buss 234
Carquest FSH23
Grote 44860
Littelfuse FLR234
Napa EG23
Tridon EG23
Signal Stat 121
Trucklite 263-4
Hella 87723
To further clarify, if you choose to use the EG-23 flasher, the terminal connections are as follows.
relay X-input, truck wire number 167, flasher plug letter B
relay P- Ground, truck wire number 90, flasher plug letter C
relay L- flashing output, truck wire number 19A, flasher plug letter A
That is how that one works, and the other one simply does not need a ground at all. (power in, flashing power out)
I've been using them for some time now, and they work well.
Had the engine run prior to trying the ether?
The TMs are free to download in the TM section.
There may even be a troubleshooting the ether system section(in the -20 level, if I had to guess).
One one the reasons for this change is the fact that many members fail to manage their ads.
This will help us(moderators) spend less time managing them.
