Oil contaminated brake shoes will cause the grabbing brake issue you described.

When will you be home again to take and share a video? What did you do to make it run this rpm? Have you verified the rpm with anything besides the OEM tachometer? What speed are you at, at 3200 rpm?

I just pulled my cam to replace all the bearings. Are you saying I should clearcoat the cam, or the bearings or just use wax?

Gear oil from the differential also lubricates the wheel bearings. The hubs have seals to keep the oil in them. When the seals leak, the brake shoes get oil on them. This will cause the grabbing brakes you described. A look at the -20 parts TM should help you understand/see the way this is...

This kind of statement is going to get this thread shutdown and members banned. If your going to make a bold statement like this, you better back it up with some facts.

Start with disassembling them and inspecting them. Locking up is one of the signs of oil contamination from bad seals. A simple look(no disassembly needed) at the backing plates may tell you something, are they wet or dry?

Is it covered in the -10tm?

Why chance all the bearing if just one is the "issue"? Why was there a change in cams?
