I know these annoying new fuel cans too. The concept is great IMO but it just doesn't work. For me it's been filling portable generators with the stupid new gas cans. The spring-loaded spouts are under so much tension they "pop off" the rim of the fuel filler. Its annoying as heck.
Could be crazier, a friend has a M49 (Deuce fuel tanker) that's BRIGHT YELLOW inside and out! Cab interior and everything. With black accents. And bumblebees painted on the doors.

Antifreeze! The mice love it! Just make sure dogs, cats, etc. can't get into it...they'll like it too and get poisoned.
