    I would tell them not use RTV at all. None. You'll be 100 miles down the road, when the compressor locks up if they do.

    You can remove the drum with a bigger hammer, but you can not re-install it that way. At this point in deuce ownership, you have 2 choices. Pay someone to work on your truck or download and learn to use the TMs.

    Worst case, disconnect and plug the air line. Then use the bolts provided and mechanically engage the fan for your test.

    Don't forget to inspect the oil line from the block to the IP. A few members have posted leak issues caused by ether a bad hose or cracked fitting.

    You'd see a lot of vapor/oil, blowing out the road draft tube.

    Guys, I should not need to mention this but obviously I do. Our site has some simple standards, including capitalization, punctuation and proper grammar. We're just shooting for somewhere between 6th and 9th grade English.
