Official 2011 SS Ga Rally Info thread

To new and old drivers alike, another safety tip. Not like I'm some expert (like Ferro) but when you go through a mud hole two things to remember: A. WAIT for assured clear distance on the other side. B. Move your vehicle out of the way AFTER you are through. If you don't wait you might not...

Your mule was .....wait for it...........number 75. Just kidding. They are keeping it a secret until the AAR. ;-) Good to meet you.

What would happen if you advanced the injection timing?

After doing two trails rides in a five-ton at the rally last week and the Hardball run to the VFW in Ferroequinologist's truck I'm wondering why I bought an 818 myself. They beat you to death and I was in the springer seat. :-( But it does have a Cummins in it, a 14 liter Cummins.

    GA Rally participants check in

As Gimpy said I made to my AO about an hour after dropping him off at his place and unloading everything he bought down there. I walked through my door at exactly 9PM last night. 1,200 more miles with Gimpy and we didn't roll my civi truck either and both doors stayed on. Good times.

What would happen if you advanced the injection timing?

Not to be argumentative (but it's my nature) why screw with the engine? Tune it up byt going through the top end or contact Westech and ask him what he does to get a nice running engine and let it alone. I run mine at 45-50mph (maybe 52) everywhere I go and it's fine. It's an old truck meant...

    King of the rattle can

I met the team from Rapco at the MVPA show in Dayton this year. Good people and I have never had a problem getting my orders from them. I use the online ordering system on their website, not e-mail. They have been traveling doing shows and I'll bet they have a lot of back orders waiting. As...

A few pics. The deer is what I think was in the Chilli Mac but Wreckerman says we have to have photographic proof of him actually putting it in the pot.

I know DHwife took a pic but I haven't seen it yet. Elmo looked funny with Gimpy. :-)

2011 Fall Haspin Run pic/video thread

Nice looking pics. I always warn my friends to never follow a big green truck off-road in a civi vehicle. Now I can show them a pic of why.

I wish you had a sleeping bag big enough. If I held still sleeping last year I was almost warm once, almost.

    A3 height?

Now you're talking. Mine was almost exactly the same cost in 2008 and it is 14x80x48. That's why I asked how high the door was. ;-)

Finally, one I might be able to make. :-)

Official 2011 SS Ga Rally Info thread

It's okay, if you didn't know some of the stuff that has happened to him you would probably make an incorrect assumption. I'm still hoping that Zout is into the juice early and this is all a prank. Of course if he got stopped in IL, NJ or NY then all bets are off.

What's up with T? Or (and more likely) has Zout been in the go juice a little early?

    A3 height?

Maybe he was going to park it in the barn Gimpy style.

wedding at the 2012 haspin rally?

That's what we did. We got married on a business trip to Vegas and when we got back we had another ceremony for the family back here in Dayton. Win-Win Well, except for being married.............. :-)

    Sunday winching gone wrong...

Looks like a fun day if you ask me. Got some experience AND no injuries.

62 MPH Deuce! This one is for you Kenny!

Mine likes 45-50 and so do I. Even with the new tires on the front I'm not fond of flying down the road in a big truck not designed to go that fast.

Allright Pros, need some help! Brake question

You can make your own power bleeder but this is what I use, or you can just do a soldier A and B. StoreFront -- Motive Products Online Store The wheel cylinders have a nasty habit of leaking out from non-use. If it were me (and I have one that needs it) I'd fill it with DOT 5 and push the...
