    14.5 up front

To run them up front you're going to need 5ton combat rims, LMTV rims, or HEMTT rims. And the bead isn't the same, but it'll seal. Personally, I'd leave the 14.5's for the M35A3 crowd.

    14.5 up front

I believe the lock ring wheels are too narrow for 14.5's (I'm presuming a 939series truck with 11.00R20 tires currently on it)

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I got it out under its own power. After it was out, I hooked to it with the M925 and got an assist through the soft stuff.

    forwarding some thing in kansas

MWMules goes to Ft Riley fairly frequently. You may hit him up. I'm an hour away from Ft Riley also. I haven't been watching the auctions, but I could make a dedicated trip for you in a pinch if it'll fit in a HMMWV.

    Hauling or towing new-to-me trailer

FYI - those plugs are 208v 3phase 100 amp plugs. This information may be useful when looking for compatible equipment/cables/etc.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I buried my XM818 to the axles today. On the plus side, I know the sprag works properly as they were all 10 turning, spinning in the mud digging trenches.

Switching Duals for Super Singles on M809

Nope. Existing wheel studs are fine.

    1983 M35A2C Brake Fluid Disappears

Most likely leaking internally into the air pack.

    fuel tank valve

The dash guage is where the fuel gauge is looking, which may or may not be where the fuel is being drawn from. There's a switch on the dash that moves the fuel gauge back and forth. As you know, the lever on the floor is what controls where the fuel is being drawn from.

    Rear Suspension

You'll appreciate the following quote from Robert Heinlein - "Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done, and why. Then do it anyway." Robert A. Heinlein

    Rear Suspension

Look at lindsey97's avatar pic for articulation of the stock rear suspension. The mod you suggest would remove much of this capability.... https://www.steelsoldiers.com/member.php?60120-lindsey97 Edit to add screenshot

    Rear Suspension

Pull the tires in how? Changing axles? Chopping up axles? Dualled 14.00s is bridge truck wheels or equivalent. You're not just a little bit over the 102" legal max. At that point you're way over. Someone measured, and going from memory it was something like 115".

PASSED/SIGNED: Texas MV Bill Moving thru Senate

Looks like the m998 with a GVWR of 7700lbs is explicitly permitted to be street titled and registered whether or not the paperwork was stamped "off road". Looks like wheeled MVs with a GVWR over 10k are permitted to be street titled and registered as long as they were not stamped "off road"...
