This is exactly the kind of thing that makes trips work out for me.
Between your trailered genset and bikeman's Tahoe maybe something will line up for someone and it'll get everyone's needs met.
Nah.... it is exposed to the pressure in direct proportion to the surface area involved. Nail head has maybe 1/25 of a square inch of surface area. At 50psi it is exposed to 2lbs of force. Dangerous to eyes? Absolutely. But in the scheme of things it doesn't compare to a decent pellet gun.

Been through there frequently in everything from a HMMWV to an M818 on 16.00's. I've got buddies in Socorro and Las Cruces.
I don't know what you have in mind for a hitch, but something to consider is hitch height with super singles. The linked post includes some pics of my XM818 with 11.00s...
Negative.
I have the M818 on 16.00's in AZ and the XM818 on 11.00's in MO. I'll be moving some things around and part of the planned trips includes the XM818 empty to KS.
Sometime in the next few weeks I'll be driving the HMMWV from KS to MO empty. Looking to offset fuel costs with anything I can put in the bed or tow on the pintle (3400lbs).
Sometime between a week or two from now and the end of the summer I'll be driving the XM818 from MO to KS.
Looking to offset fuel costs. Anything I can tow or haul.
Towbars available to tow anything up to another 5ton.
Route will be a straight shot across 36.
That truck is an '84 or '85. "A0"...
16.00's would be just fine in your application. 395's would also be fine.
5th wheel camper doesn't really qualify as "heavy" in the context of these trucks.
Those hills on I 25 are going to slow you down no matter what, 395s later than the 16.00's but...
I got the truck at auction as a dead truck quite some time ago and towbarred it to KS. I just recently got the time to go through it and make it roadworthy.
Batteries, fluids, and above all brakes. No pedal at all. Right to the floor.
New batteries and a bit of wiring got it running.

My opinions -
1) no worries about police departments not being able to sell them. You got a title so you're covered. Worst case, fedgov demands it back from the PD at which point you have clear legal recourse to get compensation from the PD. It'll go to court. They'll lose.
2) You have a title...
And one more for good measure. This one is point of view from inside the truck, and includes a hood.... but what it is is looking out the back at the 2nd truck on towbars.
