I just did mine in Rapco 383. Yeah, it has a little sheen to it and it isn't as flat looking as CARC but I like it.
Pics from an event two weeks ago. The signs are magnetic.

How are you going to get anything out of Gulfway if you only have liability insurance? I thought liability only pays off if you and your vehicle damage to someone's property.
Just curious. I have full coverage on mine right now.

Oh, I saw the other posts after my last. I got my daily driver Deuce from Kip and Gimp just did an oil change on it for me.
You can always stop by and see what kind of truck you might be getting from those two.
Or look here...
I have had no problems but then again they gave me Florida title.
I just drove my Deuce over to Wild Hogs on Farmersville-West Carrollton Road last Friday for the first time. I parked out in the lo so I would not hit any of the motorcycles.
;-)
Good to see another potential Deuce owner close...
Gimpy has several encampments around the state. Mine just happens to be a straight shot out the WPAFB GL gate. I think he is taking it out to my place so we can look at it for Travis.

I guess I'm lucky or they must be trying to give away 818s. EUC submitted on Monday and I picked the truck up on Friday for my last truck 2 months ago..
:-)

What would happen to that switch in the winter when you crank up a nice cold Deuce to start it?
No, I really want to know.
I'm just guessing here but I think there is more during cranking than 50Amps.
:-)

Good looking fabrication work. Did you by any chance happen to produce a drawing or record the measurements? (Metric or English)
It looks good though.

One of the things I learned about stump removal was leave about 4 or 5 feet of it up in the air. The height gives you leverage whether you use a backhoe to pull it over or a bulldozer to push it.
So, you put a heavy chain around it and attach it to the Deuce.
:-)

Okay, so after having the truck a while (yes Kip it's the POS you sold me) and only displaying it once I thought I would offer it up for the Thank You Foundation in Lebanon, OH.
They had me park it out at the entrance which I had thought was a bad thing since I had to leave it out there but...
A video showing what you want to see is a good idea. While a book showing exactly how to do something is fine but it is nothing like watching it on "film" or live.
That's the biggest reason I helped out while having someone work on my truck. They know more than me and there is nothing like...
My guess is the same reason some of the NHC-250s are in the 800 series trucks.
They come from rebuild as black and there is no need or wanting to paint them. But that's just a guess.
Pretty good one since I have three 818s sitting by the barn all rebuilt 5/2002 and all have black engines.

Zout and I had a misunderstanding about our two posts in this thread. After going back through I think I see the problem. I was referring to the people out there from what fdny129 said at the start, the liberals.
No worries on my part. We handled it with a PM.

I used to live in Westbury, LI. I just can't understand what you mean about the people out there. ;-)
Good looking truck and ornament on the driver's fender.
