    Yeah, maybe that's it........

Did I just say that I would sell my 109?

Funny, you didn't even mention getting rid of it when you were here Monday. I'd like to have a 109. I can't afford one right now so that's out but if it is because it is taking up too much space you are welcome to park it up here. Not too far away from you and you could still store stuff in...

    M915A1 Ready for the "Oilpatch"!!!!!!!!

I like them green but that is one good looking truck. I'd be proud to drive out to dinner somewhere wearing a tuxedo in it. sw

    M818 5th wheel chocks

Ok, that makes sense. My big one has the 5-7 degrees of motion side-to-side and the little one of truck is solid. But it has me thinking that maybe there is something in there. I may look the next free minute I get. thx sw

    M818 5th wheel chocks

Okay, so I'll play dumb. What is an 818 5th wheel chock? I have one of the old and very "healthy" 5th wheel assemblies and ramps in the barn but I have the little 5th wheel on my 818. sw

    cummins 250 air compressor

Geez I hope he doesn't turn one on its side to check everything. That would put it right up against my new barn. I guess if he takes it to the other side out if the field he can roll it over and get it to cough. Both the trucks were rebuilt the same month and year as mine only they look like...

First time caller long time fan

Welcome to the site and here's a tip. Don't call her a rust bucket where she can hear you. If you talk nice and stroke her once in a while she will take care of you. Call her names and you will be in deep chit. Sort of like a wife only a lot less expensive.... sw

Just purchaced my first truck M944a1

I just did an inspection for someone at WPAFB last week and the truck was in Kuwait at one time and shipped back. No batteries, no brake fluid, no coolant (that we could see) and low on oil. At that point I just PM'd him and said tow it or trailer it. You don't have enough time sitting in the...

    sled pulling with a deuce?

Been to many as a spectator, not as a driver and hariba11 is correct. I can't imagine starting out in one gear and then trying to shift several feet down the track. Once the sled catches you you are toast and you won't be shifting. Would be nice to see some pics of it though. sw

    While the radiator is off...

I just used socket and dead blow hammer. No beveling needed, it was a big hammer. ;-) sw

First Aid Kit and Fire Extingusher

You might want to check to see if the extinguisher is still in the 818. I vaguely remember something flying past my head while riding with you. Oh wait, that was my a$$. ;-) sw

    Maine now requires mufflers

I agree with Westy. It clearly says in section 3 modified. It also has some weasel words about sound from similar vehicles. And this: "The Department of Public Safety, Bureau of State Police shall convene a working group to study issues relating to highway traffic noise, including, but not...

    Deuce towing deuce wreck

While I understand the concern it is rarely (notice I said rarely) a single or even a couple events that cost a few lives that will ever cause the government to come done hard on an industry or hobby or anything else for that matter. Will there be exceptions to this opinion, yes but not very...

    Wright Patterson

If that's in the pic then it is junk and you should just give it to me. :-) PM me the info and I have to go out there in the next week or so I can take my battery tester and a few items and give her a once over for you if you need it. If your EUC ever clears and you can't get it out of there...

    Deuce towing deuce wreck

Anyone hear anything yet on the wreck on I65? I saw the water accident on the national news this morning. No pics of it yet as it was still on the bottom. They were reporting a small fire and it capsized after the barge hit it. :-(

    Wright Patterson

I was waiting to post pics of the S280 after I get it on the ground in its new home. If I go out to the base I'll let you know. sw

    Wright Patterson

Oh yeah, you could have it towed to my farm if need be (towing is the safest) and you could fly in and look at it and drive her home. You could also have her shipped home. I actually went out and helped load an 817 headed for Texas. sw

I am 13 miles from the lot, I just worked with Andrew today picking up my S280 in Indy since he covers out there as well. My first suggestion is to call Andrew and ask him about the truck. He may know about it or he may not but it never hurts. I can run out if you really need it looked at...
