Basically someday i want 40’s on my humvee and I’m just pondering the correct path to get there.
You provoked me to go read and learn. The conclusions I drew were that if I were going to change wheels, or use tires sourced from somewhere besides milsurp, I'd go with something besides 16.5"...
M105 bed weight is 800-1000lbs.
I've seen the deuce bed on a pickup. It was at the Phoenix show a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly it was cut down to about 9'. Looked reasonably proportionate.
I literally just dragged this nice one from AZ to OK three days ago. I screamed it for sale for months and no takers. I would have happily made that trade....
I have four new in the crate 105 beds in OKC. Transport probably kills it....
I like the idea of the 105 bed on a pickup. As to the...
And a lot of the abrasive grit in WMO is smaller than 2 micron.
This leads me to conclude that filtration is insufficient and WMO would need to be centrifuged to be safely usable. Hardly seems worth the effort for small scale....
Emphasis added - your pickup truck will pull it fine, but won't even begin to stop it.

Not to turn this into a for sale ad (and I'll be happy to delete this if anyone thinks it crosses the line), but my M818 is still available in AZ with a clean transferable AZ title. Turbo, 16.00's, hard top.....
I've seen them with a metal insert and hole cut. I have one of the inserts I'm going to use as a template for cutting a soft top to go with my LWS.
Im in AZ and it's in KS. I have pics somewhere with a tape measure. I'll post them if I can find them.
I suspect that they blanketed every email they had with a form letter. That's what mine was - one size fits all "hey we plan to close our titling office".
It doesn't surprise me not everyone got it.
