    It is 20 and 10, but to make it quick and easy, I use 15 thou top and bottom, and it works well.

    Sorry I'm late to the discussion, for a simple O.D. you could used a Tcase from a 939 series 5ton. Same basic mounts but the Tcase is O.D. in high range. Less custom to engineer imho.

    Look up threads by "spicergear". He used a hydromax from a medium duty truck in his deuce. Said it worked pretty good.

    M818 Transmission breather leaking air

    So those valves on the trans move the piston on the T-case to turn on forward or reverse Sprague. The valves can be taken apart and cleaned/rebuilt.

    Run some Cascade dishwashing detergent through the block. Fill it up with tap water and cascade, drive for a bit and drain. You'll be surprised at what comes out.

    I have Replaced mine with the LED face. They don't line up right with the metal buckets, but do one the plastic ones. My experience anyway. I also like the fact that they are dual voltage, no need to convert 24/12v - they work on both!

    Everything thats been mentioned, and the fact that the rotor spins 8xs faster than the axle. Lots of heat to build up there.

    The intake air is cooled. There is coolant passages in the intake. It has been tested by Bjorn(cranetruck) here on SS. There are lots of different parts available for the motors.
