We did 2 days of trail riding and had a great time. The weather was good 2 of the 3 days we were here. The rain day was spent touring the Brushy Mountain prison.
New rear shocks have been trail tested. I can not tell any difference with the length being 1" shorter. We are at the Wind Rock rally and they pass the off road test!
We had a good time at the show on Friday. Sold a good amount of 151 body panels and got some great deals on parts. Most vendors bailed on Friday night, we stuck around till Saturday afternoon.
I just replaced the rear shocks on my A2 with Monroe part #66627. Around $35 each on Rock Auto. I went this route as I didn't want to buy a 30 plus year old NOS shocks. The last NOS lasted about a year.

M151A2 is ready for the journey. There are 3 other jeeps joining us. 1 from VA and 2 coming in from FL. All on trailers of course! Looking forward to the event.
We're heading home in the morning. The A2 performed and ran well. The weather was very nice and we had a good time. Next trip is Wind Rock, TN in October.
We did some pretty steep hills today but all trucks handled well. The 151 definitely has limitations without having a low range but nothing we did today was an issue.
Did a few trails today, weather was very nice. It's very dry here and the creeks are low. Only a handful of people here today, many more expected tomorrow.
