We're rolling out tomorrow morning and should arrive around noon. Back of truck is loaded with 151 body panels and I have 2 sets of full side panels strapped to the rear gate on the trailer. I have a customer meeting me at the event to pick up his parts. Then we'll hit the trails till Sunday...
Started the process of changing tires on a spare set of wheels that I bought earlier this year. I've watched YouTube videos and read posts about the process. I was very happy with the first removal as the tie down and chain hook are captured and nothing can go flying like I've seen when the...
I have way more experience with the 151's. Last summer a friend and I did the entire Blue Ridge Parkway in our M151A2's, down and back. 1,362 miles in 7 days. I took spare waterpump, fuel pump, coils, distributor, fuel filter, gaskets, fluids and tools. He also took spare parts. Way...
I do not. There is a footman loop on the hood that you tie down to. If you don't have a strap, a small cord will work. Anything is better than the windshield flipping up!

I'd recommend talking to your local auto paint supplier. I had a customer the used body panel adhesives for installing new body panels on his 151. While these were steel panels, he swore by it and said he'd never weld them on again. Good luck!
I met Dave at the Findlay show, 2014 or 15. That was my early days of going to shows and I didn't know anyone out there. I was invited to get something to eat with Dave and a group of others. Most of them (maybe all) had time in the Military and I immediately noticed how strong of a bond they...
If the brakes are working good as you stated, maybe try flushing out system first? Could be just dirty or someone mixed 3 and 5 at some point? If the rubber was that decomposed, I wouldn't think the brakes would work as stated? Just a thought...
