And the relevance for the OP is that he should put eyes on his frame and see if it has a stamp. If stamped, he should make sure it matches the dash data plate.
Oh, and I recently completed a chain box for a buddy. 3/16" steel plate, welded with 1/8" 6010, and some 3/32" 7018 here and there...
Cut it out with the plasma cutter, folded it on the edge of the table with a sledgehammer, and welded it using my buddy's Bobcat.
I own a Millermatic200, which will do MIG. I've used a Miller 251 and a Miller 350P. I've tested out in structural GMAW in flat and vertical.

Use safety chains, airlines, and towlights. (I do have the tow light assemblies, but no...
I'll be making a trip OKC to Fayetteville and back to okc about the same time. I'll have an empty 20+5' gooseneck for the trip back. I'll bring tools appropriate for MVs.
Contact me if you get in a bind, or if timing lines up perfectly I'll follow you. PM sent with my number...

]Drew, you're a bad influence.
As a direct result of seeing you successfully tow one with a CUCV, I decided to do a 500 mile recovery using my pickup truck....
