The original plan was for the guy to bring his truck to OK and we'd mount the bed there.
As it worked out, it was just better for me to deliver the bed. So the cutting down, rewelding, and painting was done in OK. Then I delivered the bed and we placed it on his truck. We then designed brackets...
No. Likely you have moisture all through it. I'd start by testing the sensors and isolating which one failed. I'd probably replace both and rebuild or replace the air dryer.
You understand, this is just my best guess. It could very well be a stuck park brake lever thingy, but I'm thinking...
I've towed an M989A1 thousands of miles at highway speed. They tow just fine behind an appropriate vehicle. A pickup truck is *not* an appropriate vehicle....
Here's my take on pintle risers -
Take a stock height civvy truck with a stock hitch. You want to tow an M1101 level. So you fabricate a custom pintle riser. It looks like a steel plate, with triangular gussets, leading to a 2x2" drawbar that inserts into the stock 2" receiver hitch. To be...
This is my last trip. I'm selling the gooseneck after this one.
I've got a new phone, same number. I lost all my contacts. Text me and I'll add you back in...
Thanks
I've towed them with a stock M1009 without issue.
If you must have it level, making a pintle riser isn't an ideal solution. The drop to the truck changes the leverage, and applies twisting forces to the truck frame. This also applies to dropping the lunette. Dropping the lunette has the added...
Duals, with the mid axle chained, isn't going to get stuck much easier than singles. The differences in ability to go in the slop (or snow and ice) won't be what makes it or breaks it.
With singles, the 2nd flat is a disaster...
The shorter wheelbase of the truck tractors will be more nimble...
The air over pressure most likely isn't related to the CTIS or the governor.
Your PPV is stuck, so the governor is never seeing the pressure and keeps building air. You're hitting the pressure relief valve at 150psi.
Solution - replace your air dryer and PPV.
