This type of 2 piece rim is easy to work with (I'm presuming it's the same as the 5ton combat rims)
1) deflate fully.
2) disassemble and clean.
3) reassemble with new tire. Torque properly.
4) inflate, preferably using a lock - on chuck that you can walk away from. That way if it unseats it...
Hour meters and odometer readings don't mean much.
One of the better trucks I've had was an M923A2 showing 1000 hours and 22,000 miles. It had MWO tags, but no rebuild. (It spent it's life crawling around ft bliss as a guntruck)
Lindsey97 has a very nice M923A0 that we put hemtt rims and...
Red River was an IROAN site. Quality is hit or miss. Probably a lot more good ones than bad ones.
That being said, I've seen some bad trucks come out of RRAD. Talk to droprat....
RRAD is my last choice for a rebuild. But by no means does this mean that all of them are bad....
I have 6 NOS Aluminum MRAP rims. $100 each. I can deliver from OKC in a few weeks. By all means look around - you may get a better deal, but if not then these are available. I've got to dismount the tires from them, as the tires are going on my 5ton.
I'm open to trades of LMTV rims and tires...
Mrap rims and Peashooter adapters...
Then the 395's of your choice.
Edit - the lmtv rims are 10 lug, and compatible with 939series trucks, but obviously not compatible with the M35. The M35A2 is 6 lug. The MRAP rims are also 10 lug, but there's enough room for a 10 to 6 adapter plate. Expect...
I had a similar experience, except the guy missed me...

I think hanging a tow light assembly from the tailgate and running it in addition to the stock lights will improve visibility and may prevent some of these...
Not necessarily. Different states do it different ways. While I realize that GVWR is 33,500, the state may not want to use that number for registration.
As an example, AZ puts 00000 as the GVWR on former military vehicles. (Specifically five zeros). This is written directly into the state...
GL and GP are worlds apart on paperwork. I, too, have requested paperwork from GL well after the sale, and received it in a couple ofnweeks.
In contrast, my most recent title debacle with GP took 13 months.
A word of context - I've hit the brakes hard enough on dry pavement to engage the antilocks. On more than one occasion, and with more than one of these trucks. So, it won't really take all that much to lock them up and kill it. A light going from green to red unexpectedly...
I'm happy to drive...
