Or an m818 or M931 and put an S280 in the bed of an M1082 to tow behind it.
If you haven't seen an M934 in person, you'll underestimate just how big they are. Here's a pic of an M934A1 towing my M925A1
I'll be in Prescott AZ with an empty 20+5' Gooseneck coming towards Ft Riley.
Two trips, the first one around 11 Jan and the 2nd one a couple of weeks later.
Edit - looks like a detour to Yermo would add about 700 miles to my trip.
An M109 box will fit on an M931.
Or tow a semi trailer using a truck tractor and leave the trailer behind for the really rough stuff. Or an M1082 with a box..
The extra weight is going to be a problem on the steeper stuff.
The longer wheelbase is going to be prone to high center.

That's the one I drove topless at 24degrees from Ft Riley KS to OKC. It's a good truck. RSMS reset. Lindsey put a NOS top on it and has been using it regularly without any issues.
The halftrack is about as inconspicuous as a nudist at a taylors' convention and drew attention wherever I went with it. Lots of pictures were taken.
It really wasn't a bad trip. The bearing failure didn't kill anyone, and didn't damage anything but my stuff. It could have been *so* much worse...
Oh, and I stopped at a rest area, and while stopped I heard a sudden explosion. Some poor guy misjudged and ran his rear wheel over a decorative boulder.... BOOM
I've been occupied the last few days transporting a Halftrack 1600 miles.
It started off innocuously enough - loading was easy. In fact , it was so much fun we did it twice. The first time we loaded it forwards, and the weight distribution was suboptimal so we unloaded it and turned it around...
