While working on flipping deuce hubs I was removing the wheelstuds by means of tapping them out. To ensure I didn't hit one off center, I placed a 3lb sledge on the stud and then struck the sledge with another hammer.
I knew this was a bad idea but did it anyway.
I felt an impact on my left...
Its like someone buying a $1900.00 5-ton in Kansas and selling it to someone in Arizona for $7500.00. That is a profitable investment for the seller, not so much for the buyer.o.
I'm not so sure.
That $1900 dead truck is more like $2450 after GP fees. $1500 for transportation, $700 in fliuds...
Just to be utterly clear - so when the hub flips, the races stay mounted , and the bearings follow the races and we end up with the wider bearings to the outside of the truck...
I notice the inner wheel bearings are wider than the outer ones.
During a hub flip do the bearing or races get switched around? I see no mention of it in the instructions. My best guess says no, but I want to be certain.
Thanks
Rescinding is as easy as cancelling it in tje system and sending a letter. I had an insurance company take it on themselves to add zeros in front of tje SN to make it 17 digits, which no longer matched the state's system, which resulted in the registration and tags being rescinded on my...
I received 2 titles in tje mail today from MO, that I got by means of the SF97 and reassignment letter..... as I said, it depends on who you get behind the counter....
I did exactly that with my last two trailers. Took the SF97 and reassignment letter to MO, where I was issued titles no problem...
My point is this varies by state. Some states won't accept the sf97 which is why GP offers the Florida title option. (Or did, until Florida killed it)
I agree it doesn't make sense.
I've titled multiple military vehicles in AZ. Never once have I een able to get them to accept an SF97 and reassignment letter. The last couple of times I managed to get them to show me the written policy that says that the originator must provide a title, not...
I don't think I could get $5k for it . The sprag transfer combined with the not running right put retail at $3500 to my assessment. Get it running right (likely trivial) and $5500 is retail, but no margin.
The sprag makes it hard to sell. I don't see it as that big of deal personally, but...
May want to get a quote from okc auction services. Worst case, you can use it as a baseline for comparison.
I'll be there late next week, but there's zero chance your EUC will be ready....
