The rattling is a seperate issue. I've noticed it intermittently on every 939series truck I've ever driven. When driving with tje top off it seems to come from behind tje cab.

Was your 13k trailer unbraked? Towing and stopping a trailer with brakes is a far cry from stopping an unbraked trailer. I've done over 20k with my Ram, but with functioning trailer brakes....

Deuces require no special licensing. At least they didn't a couple of years ago when I lived in Kingwood TX.
