Here's how this will play out -
Variant 1) Florida will go back to issuing titles.
Variant 2) GP will obtain dealer status in another state and issue OHV titles from there.
May take a while.....
That's your opinion.
It's my opinion also.
However, all it takes is one TX trooper to disagree and you have an out of class ticket and an impounded vehicle.
Sure, it almost certainly gets dismissed in court. But by that time it has already cost you a ton of money.
They charged you for it, that should constitute proof.
As suggested in another thread, always take screenshots of anything that might be useful in tje future....
This raises the specter of "what are you using for a tow vehicle?"
I really hope it isn't a 1/2 ton pickup truck....
Personally, I'd be hesitant to do it even with the 1ton Ram with a welder in the bed. And I'm half nuts....
Towing that thing with the brakes caged and no air supplied to the...
It looks like muddy water ecause it contains a large amount of muddy water.... so did the primary fuel filter....
Tomorrow will get me a look into the rear diffs and the transmission and hopefully a good look at the wheel bearings.
It's the wheel bearings I worry about. At least the diffs had...
Cost - NOS 395's on aluminum mrap rims about $350 each. Then you need adapter plates at close to $700.
G177s, about $200 each.
14.5s, about $300 each and then A3 rims are hard to come by, maybe $150 each.
My personal favorite is mrap rims and 395's.
A close 2nd is the 14.5s in A3 rims.
The 14.5s ride better - a bit more flex, as the tire is made for the 14k lbs deuce instead of a 45k mrap.
I also like 11.00R20 g177s on the deuces.
Let's see what I can do for pics...
White firetruck on...
And 15 months ago I saw a very very rough parts 939series truck sell for $8k... and a few months ago I drove one wi th a 2006 production date motor (not rebuild) home for $1600+fees... and the truck was immaculate....
The truck market is volatile in general.
I don't think lmtv prices have reached bottom yet. I still think the day is coming when you'll be able to get one at auction and drive it home at $3k.....
