    Issues with SF-97

On the GP website on the left side there's a EUC status tab. The thing is, apparently it's rarely updated. So we all bother jwade instead. ...

    Legal headlight height

Seems you just opened the full commercial compliance can of worms. I bet they find at least 4 other things to stick you with...

    Cheap LMTV's no more

That's a very strong statement. What makes you think the DoD has ran out of surplus lmtvs? My assessment says this is the merest trickle before the floodgates open and that we'll see a price curve similar to what we've seen with the deuces and m939series 5tons : there'll come a day when you can...

    Miller big blue 400P failure

Welder is fixed. Fine adjustment control (potentiometer)failed. It has been replaced and all is well. A strong endorsement to WeldRite in Tucson.

    Supplies for a Long Trip

I consider power steering a must-have with 395's, especially with the smaller steering wheel.... I changed my mind, and can't delete.... #!#!#%##!!!

    Supplies for a Long Trip

I typically do OKC to Tucson in 3 days. This in 939series 5tons. I drove an M35A2C from ft polk to tucson in 5 days. I had a couple of gotchas on the trip, but I also had flexibility due to sleeping in the back of the truck. I drove a 939series 5ton from indianapolis to tucson and if I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The primary has a drain. The secondaries do not. I like them. Carnac's deuce has them, and I plan to put them on my M109A3

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Jim's deuce, not mine, but I converted it to jatonka spin ons all the way around today. .

    Supplies for a Long Trip

While I've done a few 500-700 mile days, I don't average 500 miles per day for multiple days in a row. I think your timeline is optimistic.

    Bobbed m923a2 and axles

Is it a scalable design? If so, sign me up for the twenty pounder at 300hp.....

    Miller big blue 400P failure

I've welded with rods directly from a puddle of water. They sputter and act funny, but they weld. This isn't that, and besides I ruled it out with various types of known good rods.

    Miller big blue 400P failure

I immediately suspected (and continue to suspect) the rheostat. The leads are nearly new 2/0 cable. It seems unlikely they'd be the culprit, but I'll rule them out by trying others. The rod was new and clean and dry, but of course I tried several different rods from several boxes. I...

    Miller big blue 400P failure

Yesterday I used it for fencing. Running a chop saw off the AC generator and using the welder for stick welding. Settings are coarse adjustment at minimum, fine adjustment at maximum, which should yield about 90 amps. 2/0 cable leads. 1/8" 6010. Yesterday it worked fine. Today I got to the job...

Same truck sells and then is relisted week after week

Jwade, I don't doubt for a moment your personal integrity. Clearly this truck is an outlier, and outliers by their nature attract attention. Whoever won it in the 2nd week went after it seriously. They fought me back and forth on it. My final bid was $3k and they got it for $3100. Upon seeing...

Same truck sells and then is relisted week after week

I bid on it the first auction also. The truck shows sold at the opening bid, with a total of two bids placed.

Same truck sells and then is relisted week after week

711353 sold march 16, and was relisted march 17. Payment wasn't due until march 21. How does one default on a payment before payment is due? I will only express admiration in the efficiency of relisting in such an expeditious manner. If only everything were processed so fast...

Same truck sells and then is relisted week after week

I make no accusations of straw bidding, but I can't figure an explanation... especially since I bid on it the first two weeks and was outbid, only to see it relisted...
