Generally speaking, deuces are bringing 1.5times what an equivalent 939series 5ton truck is bringing.
Supply and demand. The deuce supply has all but dried up, and the 5ton trucks are flooding out.
Carnac has as nice of a deuce as you're going to find, for sale, sitting in my driveway. I'll...
You're aware these things are being sold with a branded title, restricted to off road use only?

Yeah, this truck is also equipped with the " front drive shaft adjustment" and the "fender and cab enhancement" kits as well. It may also have other stealthily installed fork options....
I went to recover a "driveable, runs with a jump" deuce out of Davis Monthan AFB the other day for a friend of a friend. I was going to drive it to my house and store it for a week or so then the guy was t drive it 500ish miles home.
I got there, and the GP rep told me there might be a leak...
I'm driving a 5ton, towing a tilt deck flatbed with a capacity of 10k. Tentative departure 4 March.
I'm not a commercial carrier and I'm not looking for commercial rates. Abut half that would do nicely....
Empty as far as OKC.
Delivery en route of anything i have for sale is free. This...
The PPV doesn't release air like the air dryer does.
If you're hitting 150psi, most likely what is releasing is the pressure relief valve. Usually this means the PPV isn't letting air go to the secondary systems, which includes the unloader.
Keep the rpm below 2200 and the motor should be fine if it's OK now. A motor swap isn't that big of a deal in the scheme of things. $2-$3k for a NOS crate multifuel.
The sprag transfer is less desirable, but having the air shift to swap offsets most of that. I'd run it with tje sprag transfer...
You're going to catch **** for posting a link.
Cosmetically it looks good, and I'm not even into bobbers.
If I were selling it, I'd be pricing it at the $10k. If I was buying it, I'd be interested around $7k ***if*** the fab work is done right.
The thing about a bobber is the quality of the...
110 degree heat, sustained highway speed, 2002 datecodes, bed loaded to the gills, towing another 5ton also loaded to the gills. These were all contributing factors.
The final straw was when the CTIS dumped all 6 tires to 17psi unprovoked. Of course I stopped and disabled the +×÷=%!! thing and...
Slave port impact wrenches will remove a properly torqued lugnut.
The thing is, unless you put them on yourself they are usually over torqued. I carry a breaker bar with a pipe cheater to break things loose and a slave port impact wrench to make it a much faster job from that point.
I had 3...
Removal of one axle is not that complicated but adding frame or bed modification of a cargo takes more time and skill. Then again, a cargo comes with a bed that can be shortened. Most people use a M105 trailer frame for the bed.
Interesting. I consider cutting down a cargo bed from 14' to...
You can cage the brakes to move them around.
I have no idea what GP does to load them at ft drum. Elsewhere (Ft Polk for example), no loading assistance is availale. Perhaps a call to GP'S customer service would yield an answer.
