    24V jump box

More likely hard on the owner. Drag it out, hook it up, fingers crossed, wait and see, take it off, pack it up. Charge system is doing nothing when trying to start. Now, if the batteries were dead / weak and one used this "aux battery box" or any other 24 volt slaved connection to get...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Another day playing HUMMWV. Just another rusted up bolt the sawzall took care of and I have a BAD ASS impact gun. So much for a stuck drain plug. Front left brake line. More BS and rust issues. New to you. OLD truck to them. Rubbing a hole in line up against rotor. $15 part. Note...

    Two 6.2s much different performance.

I can answer the "can a GM dealership do it" Not in my neighborhood. Google "How do we properly" Bah bah to find out. Those are good questions with a lot of overlap on the science and technology of how diesel engines work. I would steer you to Utube. Look up some basic explanations /...

Parade - pulling float...unplug fan control????

The time delay module as noting to do with temperature. It allows for a twenty second +/- window to disengage the fan during; 1: an attempt to force a down shift (peddle to the metal and kick down switch correct and transmission solenoid does its thing) getting a little more HP out out of...

Hard for me to tell the difference on the video. U get all the three bolts in at the pump drive? One not sticking out or ?? Any chance two of the lines got crossed at the pump? Hard to do BUT but but... I guess one could while it's running crack one at a time injector to determine which...

Gas pedal hard to press Normal?

The return spring is a bit stronger and peddle has a little more travel on a HUMMWV than say a gas / carburetor linkage engine. Not like today's electronic pedals. A good HUMMWV throttle cable pull resistance (it is lined) is very very low and of a short length. If it is bent, crushed, as...

DIY alignments When I got my rig squared up it was time to work in an alignment. To pay for one, no problem. I use my allowance LOL for parts not procedures. As it goes, it a hobby rig and a learning platform AND it keeps me out of the way for honey doo's. (someone thinks it's a money pit)...

TOBASH, Old timers kicking in here. Brake cleaner or something. So you are ready for that alignment. YEA !! If you like, highlight what they found or had adjusted to get it the way you want. Like minds want to know. 1, Is a 24 volt unit? Switched 24 volts off of either circuit...

IMO, I wouldn't waste my time or money on an alignment till I had new tires and balance them, along with a GOOD check of all steering components and suspension. Anything out of specification gets new. All these parts work in concert. Just to many wear items to try and compensate for. IMO...
