They get you coming and going.... there's a fee to you of 4-5% which seems very reasonable.
Until you find out they also stacked $200 - 300 on what the bid was. Example - trucker put in bid of $800. What I saw on my end was $1100 + $30 in fees.
It's still worth throwing it on uShip, because...
That's my opinion of most things as well. My initial plan was to get seperate dedicated MIG and stick machines.
However.... I've used a 350P for short circuit MIG welding, and the MultiMatic 200 has that same feel to it that the 350P does. I've used a Dynasty 200 DX for stick welding, and the...
You almost certainly won't hit the limit on duty cycle, except MAYBE running MIG or FCAW with the thicker wire and standard 110v house current.
I use mine doing multiple pass MIG on 3/8" and thicker plate and I never have to stop and wait for the machine.
That 20% is only at the absolute...
Delivered the hmmwv hardtop and M1101 this morning.
I've been selling ammo cans every time I stop for fuel - people come walking up to talk about the trailer and end up with some cans :). I brought a trailer full and bed of the redtruck full of cans. Hoping to not take any home with me...
I'm driving my 3500 RAM empty to Dallas to retrieve a 5ton.
Anything I have for sale would come with free transport along the route or I'll move your stuff for fuel $$. Truck has pintle hitch and 2" standard receiver. G56 and 4.10s.
In all seriousness, if it is just scrap metal and nice crates, it was a good deal :)
Last I checked, steel is $0.11 per lb scrap. I'm into it for about $0.02...
Sometimes I find myself bidding on things because they're heavy and made out of steel, or because they come in nice crates. These are both.
Part number 2198200034. Turntable for M984A1.
What exactly are they?
(Can't add pics - may try again later)
The lube order is around here somewhere.
The air filter isn't readily available. If the existing one is that dirty blow it off and replace when you get home.
Fuel filters are another matter. Some a2 trucks have 2 and some just have one. The little one on the block is the one that's prone to...
In the event CTIS doesn't work, I would then go get one ($30ish) from the nearest truck stop.
I'm with you though brasco, I like them. It's a poor man's CTIS and I keep one in my A0 truck. If he doesn't already have one though I would hold off obtaining one until need is verified.
Gorilla tape. 3 slightly overlapping strips accross the front, 2 right down the center of the windshield support continuing up to the rear of the softtop.
Here's my take. I'm working from the assumption you don't have army truck experience or even big truck experience. Bear with me if I state some things that are obvious.
If you take everything that you might need, you'll take a fully stocked shop van truck. Not really practical. What you take...
The list is long and will vary by who you talk to. Here's mine:
1) A chase vehicle. Anything will do. Something to go get parts with. If it is capable of towing your 5ton so much the better.
2) slave cables.
3) everything needed to change a tire.
4) basic hand tools.
Off the top of the...
