The t case has rear output only till you activete an air switch. Then it acts as open diff for front to rear till activate an air switch then it's locked 50/50 output. It also has a rear pto that's activated by air switch. I'll try to pm more info later.
Before posting I searched "average oil filter micron rating". A quick scan of the results gave me an idea of 20micron, so your 25 micron should be fine.
The rating is nominal wich means it should catch 50ish % of particles at that size, more at larger chunks, less at smaller chunks.

The military put turbos on to reduce smoke out of the stack in an effort to make the epa happy. You can crank up the fuel and get more power, but the military didn't.

Put a screw driver to your ear and then to each injector. That should tell you if the injectors are ok(they should all sound the same-ish). Next would be to get an infared thermometer and see what the exhaust temps are at the manifold outlet. A cold(maybe hot, but I doubt it) outlet will tell...
