Is the oxidation considered "corrosion" (like eventually reducing the copper to dust), or is it more like a sealed coating?
That was what I always thought the green "patina" was about (but believe me I'm no chemist or anything).

You no doubt feel the pain, but hope it makes you feel better that I've seen radiators that almost looked in OPPOSITE shape (a small patch of UN-crushed fins) that were still operational (but obviously not at top efficiency).
