Old style head gaskets and weep channels are visible in post 2 pics 5 & 6 http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/10460-head-gaskets.html
Not sure what you're asking. Do you have a TD block? Do you have the "old style" head gaskets or the "new style" gaskets? Old ones have a visible "weep" tab , on the passenger side.
Or, use the pipe plug on the intake 90 degree elbow(where the ether start kit connects).
To be safe(with only a boost gauge) keep it under12-14 psi boost.
Can't beleive what you read on the Internet, but here's "The Wiki"
Detroit Diesel V8 engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It says the "Army" engine has 165 hp!
Wiki's and forums are full of false info!

Scroll to the very bottom of this page and you'll see a couple threads on this subject, they should have come up when you searched Tachometer in the CUCV forum(before posting a new thread).
My thoughts exactly. Take a week off and come back if you think you can control your argumentative attitude and want to discuss things rationally. We don't need it here.
I may have room in an M101 on the return trip. I will be dropping off my trailer at I81 and 66, in VA. It will be going to RRacing with his stuff in it. Maybe you can get your stuff from him later?
If you consider that quote as "giving you a hard time", well, I can't help you there(I have ideas but it would be rude to say them here). That was sound advice and fact, nothing more.
Until you posted the link, I had no idea what you were getting at or referring to.
We've discussed dog bone...
Many people have welded a bolt over the end of the bushing to eliminate the possibility of a total failure.
One member posted a great thread on his own idea of drilling and tapping the center of the bushing and used plates to add a second measure of security.
Maybe your thread would be going...
The location of the clamp to the brake line is a valid issue to consider(when a dog bone fails).
It's just a bit frustrating to me , to have taken this long in the thread to see what your concern/issue is.(and it took a link to your previous thread on this subject)
