Are you saying you added a 12v alternator and a third battery?
What alternator are you adding?
White wire to what switch? Are you going to manually operate a toggle switch to energize the alt? Or use a relay and use the stock ignition switch?
If you used a one wire(converted) alt, it...
I am guessing that it will be hard to pin down an exact quote, until you commit to a trucker and a time/situation. A lot of variable can occur between now and then.
As a reference, I had a step deck tractor trailer haul 2 M818s(full load) 700 miles for $1400.
I would guess your looking at...
After picking up about 20 2.5 ton trucks in the last 5 years, I would guess about 4 or 5 of them would have been road worthy, and made a successful 250 mile trip home, safely. Thats 25/75% odds.

I know I dont need a total restoration project right now(too many other things going on).
I'll go back and look closer, maybe tomorrow. Not sure about the floors(was raining today).
I'm pretty confident the engine will not be stuck but, the brakes for sure are bad and the fuel system will be a mess I bet.
I'll bring a slave cable with me, when I go back.
I did notice the cargo cover is torn and has holes in it. Also the tires look to be original and checked bad. He did replace the seat canvas when he did the work on it.
