You may have a bad sensor or GP controller card. Timing may be an issue. Bad injectors too. Glow plugs do go bad, but they should not melt off.

I did notice the cargo cover is torn and has holes in it. Also the tires look to be original and checked bad. He did replace the seat canvas when he did the work on it.
