Unlikely. CDR is like EGR and my understanding is that it directs blow by into the air intake for consumption in order to diminish pollution. It does not directly consume oil.

On my rig, the oil pressure sender hose was the older generation, and it was rotted and rusted. This would be a perfect time to check your oil pressure sender and replace it with the turbo out. Otherwise you will have a frustrating job ahead of you.

Sometimes you need to buy a heater core meant for something else and then cut off the intakes and either make or TIG weld or connect with rubber hose to make it fit your function.
