Eric. This switch should not be voltage sensitive. The bulbs need to be swapped out, not the switch IMHO.

Given Steel Soldiers is a major repository of information regarding all things mechanical, like transmissions and 6.5 engines and all things HMMWV, I think having a civilian Hummer presence here on Steel Soldiers is terrific.

My M1165 actually uses the civilian version HMC4 roof as even AMG and GM recognized the two units as interchangeable. You can actually see the civilian hand-hold mounting brackets on the military unit.

Given the truck starts, you might wanna just clean and rebuild. Rebuild kits have bearings and such. You need to clock/mark the impeller blades on...
Bring tools to disconnect the axles to allow pulling the rig onto your rig if the drive train or brakes are frozen. Bring a large bottle of liquid dish detergent to allow you to use a winch to pull the locked tires onto your trailer just in case.
