    my 819 does 60 or a bit better down the road, if you put a cummins in you need the 800series hood and side peices, as the cummins is a longer engine

    10x20s will be to small, the book calls for 1200x20s, both for the 246 and the 819, and theres surposed to be a front winch, BUY IT, i love my 819

    the tm 34p shows 11" for all but the 14s which calls for 12"

    the 1400s use 12" rims. the nomal rims are 11", the studs and spacers were also used on the m812 and the m821, these were the 800 series bridge trucks, the both ran 1400s, the offset is the same

    the wrecker and the bolster truck are the only ones that use the transfer pto. the pto exits out the back of the transfer in line with the input shaft, uou could peice the pto setup togeather but it would be a big pain in the a$$. it would be easer to use a m51(dump) trans pto, this is a duel...

    the transfer pto ran the hyd, and the 45000 drag winch on the wreckers, the output shaft on the pto connects to the transfer input shaft with a jaw clutch. if you add a transfer pto to your transfer, you MUST, i repeat MUST have the transfer oiling setup with it, other wise you WILL burn up...

    my m52 got 5 to 6 mpg, my 819 gets about 6 on the highway(not bad for 35k lbs and no aux. trans)

    there is a BIG hole between 3 and 4 , on my 819 ,i fill the filter, then crank the engine, it primes it self every time (as long as the fuel filter vent and the filter drain is closed tight) cummins are real good for self prime as long as the fuel system is tight

    on my 819 theres no room for chains on the rear, when in a tight turn, the inner rears just about ( if not actually )rub the springs
