I bet that would work...a local truck shop might have something or hydraulic shop...I'll look up a hose company I use and see if they have something like that.

Yup that's it! I had both columns out when I did mine so it was right in my face and didn't know it would go on if I flipped it, tried it and it fit...kinda like a light bulb goin on...I am big on swapping out everything on a part before I install a new one so it was not that hard to see. Glad...
So I found another one to turn into a fun truck that is a 6.2 civ version blazer...probably do a mil clone with it...bumpers n such. I thought you all would get a kick out of the fuel filter setup they had on it!! The guy I bought it from didn't know what it was so he took it off...ugh..gotta...
I'm split on the zerks...being ones that don't have them last a decade or more and ones with are about the same if you get the ones with the zerk on the end cap and not the middle of the cross...it's definitely a mental check knowing, I put grease in that I should be ok vs is that ujoint gonna...
on concrete I have had good luck with cheap cat litter...the clay stuff with no clumps or stinky cat smelly...dig it in with my boots and let it sit there for a bit...usually comes out pretty good.
Modern art right!! Gotta sand off the top of the weld dabs then put a nice bead down the entire stitch...I think we'll put seam sealer over all of them to dress it up nice...I'll get to welding more tomorrow!!
The new part I made was painted early this morning and stitched in this afternoon...nice having a heated place to do that since it is pretty cold out...I'm going to put the door back on after I do just a few spots to hold the outer rocker in place to make sure everything lines up...having the...
Well...the passenger side is a little worse than the drivers side was...cut the mount and side out for the seat belt...the entire side was rusty about 5 inches up...so out it came...I build the replacement tomorrow from a new peice of steel I got today...I'm getting pretty good at fabricating...
I've done something similar to that but with a big pry bar stuck into the bolt and center bolt to keep it from twisting..I don't have any straight bolts in my kit and it's a snap on...I don't think the blue gas is gonna do much since it doesn't get that hot...makes you feel better though with it...
Do the turn signals at least light up at all? Get new flash relays...I like the heavy duty ones...they do click louder but will hold more lights without flash timing being off..all of mine were bad..I have a stock under dash harness that if you need help identifying stuff I can take pics of it...
When I swapped mine out I remember that part looking wrong...just flip the switch around and it'll work...take it off the metal bracket and turn it the way it should be.

There's a good bit of info on the scepter tanks on here if you search them up!! Some can be very old though and can separate where they come together over time.
Perfect!! If you already have the 140 you're set!! Is it set up for gas? I learned on one of those, work very well...I am just cheap didn't want to spend the extra money on that...I found the body parts I got were oversized to cut to fit whatever you need to replace so you can practice...
I have 4 of those tanks that I bought at local swap meets, there is a holder that bolts to the floor to hold it in place with a small strap going over top. I have seen a few online in some surplus stores online too. They can be very old though so if you want to put fuel in there they better be...
