84 m1028. Truck sat for 2 days, went to start it and didn't set the fast idle and the truck shut back down. Starter made a noise so I checked it after the engine shut down and had to put another bolt in. Tried to start the truck and it'll crank but not start. Getting fuel pressure...
Please don't hate on the wheels, I got a hell of deal on the setup. 84 m1028, 30k miles. It's taken a year but I'm happy with it and the kids love riding in it.

I recently put a 6 on the front of my m1028. With that being said my 85 k10 diesel appears to have the same dimensions but a 2 leaf. I just happen to have the 3 leaf fronts by the shed measuring the same 47"x2 3/4" dimensions. Front and rear width are the same as well. How much more ride height...
Anyone have a link or the whereabouts on a pioneer toolkit? I have the bracket in the truck but I'd love to have the tools.

Given to me yesterday, sold at the dealer mounted on the truck in 84 and taken off last week. Has screened windows. Just not sure it's found its forever home on the 1028 vs a s250 shelter. Need some opinions please.

Wandering how accurate these advertised hp and torque specs are on the duramaxhub url. They're saying military engines are producing 165/330 over civilian 130/240. I'm running an industrial at 145/240. What's the difference between the industrial and heavy duty? Also have a spec sticker...
Someone posted this on a Facebook post of mine. Said it was the 123rd signal battalion Germany. It solidifies my decision to put an s250 back in the bed of the truck.

Been a mechanic a long time and never seen this before. Pretty sure it may be a gov ID but was wondering if it's something else. Bad spot to put it for legibility but oh well.

So after my new sender (spectra fg05f) came in I noticed that it doesn't have the center "drain" tube like my original that goes to the bottom of the tank (the exterior connecting tube has a 90° bend downward inside the frame rail with a rubber cap). I've read on the 1008 and 1009 posts that a...
What are yall thoughts about running 9r16 super lug or mohawks? Coker advertises the tires at 35.5" tall and 10.5" wide. I'm running 34.5" equivalent currently and have no issues with my 4" lift

Finally got the 4" Superlift on the front and the 4" ord flip on the back. Now should I fit hmmvw 37s or go with 35s? BTW the civvy k5 i have has 36s and is 1/2" higher in the front and will scrub. I absolutely refuse to trim sheet metal on this truck.

So I was under the impression that ORD was a manufacturer. I ordered flip kits last Wednesday and was told this morning they're on backorder until Friday? Hard to believe they're back ordered on flat-stock. So who is making their stuff?

So I found this for my gf. Already had a lift installed and 36's. PO had extended driveshafts fabbed up, dropped t-case, canted lift blocks. With that being said... The truck was set up for 6-8 inches of lift, yet he installed a 4" front spring and rear block setup. Front shaft only has 1/2" of...
About to install a 4" front spring setup and I need suggestions on rear block thickness and u-bolt dimensions i.e diameter, inside width, and length for differing block thickness. Looking for leveled look or maybe 1" high in the rear. So wondering should I go 3 or 4 inches? 1984 m1028

Just picked up a 1984 m1028 with 26k original miles and someone did a botch job on the time sert install. Anyway I converted to helicoil with great results and a problem occurred to me. With the original holes drilled to 13/32 the knurl will no longer contact the block below the helicoil...
