Does anybody have any documentation that the 6.2 is really a detroit? I have a bet with a guy at work that says it isn't. I have always heard it was, but just a chevy gas motor coverted over. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First problem is i have a tranny leak between the transmission and transfer case. Is it as simple as unbolting and sliding the transfer case back, cleaning the mating surfaces and applying RTV? I really hope so, and is there any other seal in there that could be leaking before i try this...
