Hello all, I’ve got a H-140 heater that when set to heat quickly(less than a minute) rises past the 130 degree thermostat and shuts down the burner until it cools down to around 100 and cycles again doing the same thing. Removed the ducts and jumpered out the 130 thermostat and the unit climbed...

Here in snow country, I found this works well. Keeps is clear of snow.

I have the same thing on my m1008, kind of a dull thud and only at higher speeds. I was thinking it was something in the drive line, I'll be checking my motor/trans mounts.

Looks like you would be good to go with a new resistor. Worked for me.

That's funny, I'm of an age to know how that one works. I see it on the other end when teaching people the use of modern technology.

It's running great. Added a block heater, Solar battery maintainer and fixed the Batt gauge with the 300 ohm resistor trick I found here.

I have to admit it's not my metal brake. I just have friends with a metal brake.

Installed a hitch over the weekend and this is how I did it. The hitch was free/used and was wider than the frame of the truck. Only mod to the truck was I needed to hog out the mounting holes on the bumper bracket to make up for the plate and add longer bolts. Spare tire still fits. I got lots...
