What did you do to your deuce this week?

Put down the troop seats, loaded the bed with coolers full of frosty beverages and food, and drove some of our family members through the pasture to our cabin for a picnic. The dog sat up front.

Deuce wont start at gas station

We dont usually let the tank get that low for the reasons described above. This was the trucks first time out this season and we wanted to take it for a good ride and decided to drive to the truckstop instead of fillling up a 5 gallon can first. The fuel stop lever seemed to be working correctly...

Deuce wont start at gas station

Well we got it going and its now safe at home. We knew it was pumping fuel and the engine shutoff was working properly. We opened up each injector line, cranked the engine, bled the filters again and it started. It had to sit overnight because the batteries got worn down. I was able to pull it...

Deuce wont start at gas station

After we bought some diesel at the gas station the truck would not start. It just turns over. We changed the fuel filters a week ago and bled them. The truck has for run well over an hour since then and was running fine. We opened up the bleeder valves on the secondary and final filters and...

From the top or the bottom?

Driving a deuce would be so much easier if it were that flat here. Nice dogs, they look like they had fun. Our dog is old...and blind, so he doesnt do anything but sleep. He would have loved the deuce in his younger days. Truck looks good too.

    Mandatory Deuce tools

Thank you for the part #'s. I will order that from NAPA when I get the oil. That combined with a 4' pipe should take all the headache of removing wheels from the duece. There will be more questions coming.

    Mandatory Deuce tools

So the Ken-tool works for both the front and rear lug nuts right? Might be a dumb question but I would like to make sure I order the right thing. Gonna be spending some $ getting the Deuce reading for spring and a good lug wrench is a needed item. Thanks.

    box for....

How easy is it to remove the box in case you want to use the full bed? Nice job BTW.

    M35 Gear Shifting correct

I starting using this method of shifting and couldnt believe how much happier the deuce felt. It accelerated faster and didnt lug at all. I will keep on practicing and split shift all the time from now on. Especially with the hills. From what i have read, it seems like 5th low is a better choice...

    Just bought a deuce!!

We got our insurance through progessive, but it is a commercial policy. Our biggest problem was the duece wasnt in any vehicle category on their computer. We also registered it for 18,000 pounds since we usually carry around 2 tons in the bed. Registering it here in NY wasnt an issue but the...

    What's all the fuss about?

They are more economical than you think. One time we had 2 tons of grain, 1 ton of cement mix, plywood, 8 and 12 ft lumber and a bunch of other things. All in one trip. This would have taken 2-3 trips with a pickup. The gas milage isnt that bad without a lot of weight in the back. Our old F-250...

    Deuce Tire Chains

Is it better to put chains on just one rear axle or both? We dont need them on the front, but some extra traction in the rear would be nice, especially when the bed is empty, like it always is on one half of a trip? Where is a good place to get chains for a deuce?

Kicked out of my own driveway!

Its sad what our country has become. Its gonna be hard for me to be productive at work today now. I got so angry reading this, and will be thinking about it the rest of the day. I live on a farm so our deuce is part of that and has commercial plates. But we can park it wherever we want and drive...

    Deuce door windows

How do you remove the door glass? One of the regulators is unhooked and spun around the wrong way. It is pushing against the glass. If the glass is out we can flip the reguloter around. We dont use the window for fear of scratching it, though it already is a little. And its getting cold out.

    New York Questions..

Yeah, Kublos had that form for us, dont remember which one. We didnt have to have the truck weighed or anything. I think it was the form that stated the vehicle had never been registered or something along those lines. Sorry I cant remember more, but that was a year and a half ago. If I remember...
