    About the wheels

Is this a good deal? Are they 900 series or HEMTT? Will the offset work on an 818?

    Backyard find

So I'm finally getting around to posting my most recent acquisitions. I have been waiting for about 2 years for our town to have an auction on misc. equipment and 2 MV's. The trucks had to wait an amout of time before they could hit the auction block. The hardest part about the wait is trying...

    Spin-on secondary kits!

Hey Guys, I got the first set of spin-on secondary fuel filter adaptors from Jatonka today. John deemed his trial set fit for the masses and I was in the right place at the right time to purchase mine. They went on in 40 minutes, road tested, no leaks no problems. He is headed to Jim...

    Recovery, New York style!

Jatonka, Uncle John and I went to Anneville Pa. last Friday to retrieve our trucks. We departed Jatonka's shop at 0430. UJ, 84, threw out his alarm clock after he retired, so he camped out at the shop the night before. The trip down was uneventfull, reaching Anneville at 1130. Mike from GL was...

    "Great List" part II

I just finished reading, "Great List" for picking-up a deuce, and it occured to me that nobody included a license plate. I won 2 deuces out of Anneville and plan on flat towing them home when my EUC clears. My question is, or maybe this is a poll, but who: 1. Gets a plate then drives their...

    LOCK-OUTS ARE IN

I just received my lockout hubs from Jatonka. They are truly a work of art. They look, good, feel good ......and smell good! Should be easy, the directions look straight foward and the kit has all the gaskets and pieces. I plan on installing them this weekend, I will keep you posted.

    Sad Day for Ft. Drum

Ken Lien from the Ft. Drum DRMO died last night. Anybody that has purchased a vehicle from there knew Kenny and liked him. Details of his death and ceremony are limited. If anybody from the Watertown, New York area can post the details from a local paper it would be appreciated.

    Lift cylinder

Once again back to my 105 Carpenters trailer. If anyone is going to Gilbert that has a lift-cylinder for sale or the specificatons for one I would greatly appreciate a visit. We (NY-Penn MVCC) will have the corner next to the parking lot. Look For Jatonka's "Aces and Eights" and my Black Deuce...

    M105 Carpenters Trailer

I have owned a M105 carpenter trailer for almost a year. At the risk of getting a blasting by ACE, I have not read the TM for it because I can't find one nor can I open any of the M105 TM's on this site. That said, does anybody know the specs. on the hydraulic cylinder (I need one) and how the...

    Deuce Manufactures?

Went to the local Salvage yard today and found an old deuce tractor. I found a data plate on the frame behind the cab. Year 1957 Model M46 Manuf. Utica-Bend Now I know the Deuce was made by Reo, Studebaker, Kaiser and AMGeneral, however, who else had a piece of the action?

    New Deuce in New York

I finally got my deuce last Friday. 1968 Kaiser w/winch and whistler turbo. Oddly I was searching in a 1000 mile radius of my home and found one 9 miles away. It has a 1/18/90 rebuild tag and 4755 miles on the odometer. Air shift front axle, an '84 White multifuel engine and a soft top. I...

    New guy from New York

Long time visitor, first time poster. My name is Dave, and I have a SS site addiction. Currently I am hunting for a Deuce and a half and all of the threads have answered my pre purchase questions up until now. The truck that I am currently interested does not have a PTO. Question is how...
