M923A2 6CTA8.3 engine serial number needed

I need a replacement banjo bolt for the outlet of the fuel filter on my engine, the one with the bleeder screw. My local dealer "can't find anything" without an engine serial number. I can't get to my truck today to get the serial number. Could somebody give me the serial number of the...

    Solar Battery Tender for M923

I made a little bracket and put the solar panel on the davit so it was up high and in the sun at just about any angle. I put the controller in the battery box under the seat.

im bringing home the beast (M923)

I think it looks good. Whats the deal with the rear suspension? Looks awfully compressed. I've had 10,000lbs of rocks in mine and it wasn't compressed anything like that.

    Battery charger for a 923

+1 for the Deltran 24v tender. I use them on both trucks and gennys. Mine came with both permanent and temp clamp cables. Seem to work great.

My first MEP-701A / couple questions

Anybody know for sure? I've only run mine for an hour or so at a time. I'd say you could connect a battery charger off the convenience outlets if you needed to run for a long time. Or slave the genny off a truck. The draw of the stuff that runs off DC after starting would be pretty low I'd guess.

My first MEP-701A / couple questions

I never got around to taking it apart enough to check the stator and magnets. Maybe this summer. For now I just keep a battery tender on the battery to keep it fresh and charged after running the genny.

M923a2no reverse when in low range

My A2 backs up fine in both high and low range. Must be a different linkage with a "safety" to prevent damage.

That is not correct. You are better off filling out the HMV forms and sending them along with the pictures to the DMV. PM me if you need help, I've done it a few times.

My first recovery effort !! Monday 2/10/14... m923a2 battery question !!

There are most likely 4 6TL wet cells in the pull out drawers (2 in each). You could hope it starts and that the batteries are discharged but otherwise good, but if they are not you might find yourself in the market for batteries and an alternator.
