    Am I missing something?

Yep. Pulled them out of Dayton in 2010. Good memory. I have always been appreciative of your generosity, time, and talent. I was not expecting to purchase two tractors but somehow, I managed to screw up and have two. At the time, I was in a panic. However, I have never regretted it.

    Am I missing something?

$11,000 with the M127A2C trailer. Message me from this site. 1972 M818 with a 2002 depot rebuild currently with less than 5000 miles. It had less than 100 miles when I purchased from GL. Not a dog. Excellent truck in every way. Make a reasonable offer with or without the trailer. Google...

What fuels do you run your turbines on?

The bullet-proof choices are: Jet-A is the easiest to buy at your local airport that services jet aircraft. JP-4 or JP-8 works great but it is not readily available in the public domain.

    Reflectors or no reflectors?

In the NATO member countries, these additional reflectors are added to the mud flaps of MVs for extra visibility when approaching from the rear. These same reflectors on the 2.5 & 5-ton trucks are four times as large on each rear mud flap. They truly light up the truck at night.

How rare are M54s vs M35s?

I purchased my M54A1 from the Army Reserve Unit in Lawrence Township NJ in 2015. It was a 1965 that was rebuilt in 1975 in include the lastest 673 engine, ungraded Spicer Trans, the newer M809 steering, and other upgrades. The rebuilt machine arrived with two other M54A1s in 1975. They remained...

    M35a3 can wheels be flipped?

I totally agree with you regarding the use of a 5-ton. What IS the solution is found below... Its a 1965 M54A1 with a complete 1975 rebuild including the 5-speed Spicer, M809 steering, new Mack axles, and the last version of the Mack ENDT-673 engine kicking out 220 HP. I did a cab-off rebuild in...

    M35a3 can wheels be flipped?

The solution I used was to go to 10-wheels mounted on 11 X 20 Goodyear G177s or the current equivalent. See my M35A3 below thatI have used for the last twelve years. The singles wore out in 2014. You can flip the hubs (OR NOT) to make the duels work for you. In my case, I flipped the hubs as I...

    M54 Rescue

Your M54 looks quite good actually. They clean up nicely. I found my M54A1 (Mack Engine) in 2015. I thought that I had made a very big mistake. NOT SO. I went for a cab off restoration. It was far better than it looked. It is a 1965 sporting a 1975 depot rebuild. I purchased it from the Army...

    M105 a1 lowering questions

TWO SOLUTIONS Both require Titian Surge Brakes installs. I used 9 x20s on the tanker M105 and pulled it with my Dodge with a hitch height of 24". but cutting and welding the tongue. The same worked well with the CUCVs. The M105 cargo exchanged 10 x 22 tires for 12.5 x 16s. The best all...

    Which CUCV is this truck?

Auction personnel can be quite clueless. I purchased one of these from the Air Force in 2014 for $1500. It has a Reading 12-foot bed, 2-wheel drive, with a 411 rear. When running, it is far quieter than a CUCV, moves along at a comfortable 60-65 MPH. Restored, they are a work of art. As you...

What year model did the m35 go to duel reservoir brakes sysytem?

It was never an across the board item. Most of the M35s with duel systems were late 1980s model vehicles ordered by the Air Force plus a few after market installs by individuals.
