Heading to Barstow would make sense if an Armor unit was going to NTC and was not drawing vehicles there. the seat back fits am M1 (original M-1, not M1A1 or later) the seat assembly comes up as Seat, agricultural/auto/tractor sub 8....possibly for a Dozer of some sort? Not from M1, M2/3, M113 or anything else I've personally worked with....hope that helps
