    Inner rear axle seal

Yes the plate is to let the oil run out on the hub side through the small holes on the brake drum unfortunately the RVT did not seal well and let through some oil. I was not sure if anyone has had a seal fail that quick. I am going to replace the race in hopes to have a new seal surface and hope...

Looking for input on wheel leak. I replaced all the wheel seals in the truck last June about 500 miles on new ones. Repacked all the bearings and replaced some that showed water damage. When I moved the truck last Tuesday I saw a oil on the tire. I pulled it apart tonight gear oil all over the...

    NY Inpection

I have mine registered at 18,500 and run commercial plates, so it is subject to emission testing. It passes well within limits. As Jeepstinker has stated the only thing I had to add was a light for the plate. That is an easy fix from either Erik's or Those Military Guys both have light kits...

    Gauge repair question

My temp gauge stop working so went through TM and tested and found the gauge was bad. Well I order a new one and installed it. The gauge worked fine but I was not happy with the new look in the dash with all the old SW-505 gauges. So I carefully pried off the bezel and took the gauge apart, to...

    deuce hub possible issue

Had same problem after replacing seals and repacking bearings, three ran at 89F to 95F and the fourth at 135F IR gunned the brake drum 90F. Backed off two flats of the axle nut and rechecked 85F. Should have listened to my gut and not over tightening.
