I take it the blackout light system needs special switches because the plugs are huge (like 5 prong or so). if that is the case, anybody out there have the right switches. When i bought my truck, the plugs where bypassed with jumper wires.

Hi. Ive been driving my 1985 M1008. Ive did the calculatiions and im only getting 10 mpg. i have been driviing it tough (like a race car!) but is there any sort of tune up things or things i can adjust to make the fuel economy better? I will eventually get different gears for it but until then.

I see where the bottom of the bridge plate mounts to on my m1008 (a L bracket) but what does the top of it mount to, or how is it supported. It seems like the numbers and the "C" would fall of if i hit a pot hole.
