A case(12) of Brown and a case of Black, but id use the Industrial Rustoleum Black from Lowes(comes in a long silver can) in place of the CARC sub black. It looks and sprays a lot better to me. But Rapco's black is good too. I cant say if you can spray it over Behr paint, I would think so , but...
Is there anyone that can post a picture or help out, im going to try a few other things tomorrow but this part sure seems like the cause of the issue, would be nice to fix the easier things. Jay
Roger that , I found that , mines a little diff but same thing pretty much.
I didn't see the CTIS one near it. And nothing in the manuals says anything about that part.
TM9-2320-272-23-1 page 257 looks like the thing I circled in red in the picture but Im going to look around and see if I can find the ones your talking about,
update , I know what the low air pressure switch looks like, we had to change one on a friends truck. Im still not locating the CTIS one.
Can you put up a picture or tell me more about the 120 switch , its not the one that's under the exhaust elbow with two wires coming from the top?
I do have good air feed from the yellow line , electric is connected. If you can tell me more about the 120psi switch in case I checked the wrong...
I checked the switch that has the two wires near the air drains. The truck builds 120. The PCU in the picture doesn't make a noise. I know the power cord that goes to the left side top of the PCU is unhooked I did it to move it around. When its unhooked all 5 lights flash , hook it up it goes...
Suprman , I fixed the filter your talking about in the cab.
Can you get me a pic or tell me how to find the switch your talking about. I figured there had to something that's not sending a signal to the CTIS.
I replaced everything going from the air dryer itself to the wet tank.
On the A2's its behind the alternator and a hose behind that you will see it screwed in with a Military wire plug sticking out of it. You will have to move the alternator and hose to get to it. Pain in the butt ,but not too hard to do.
Seems like a lot of those go bad.
I have a new issue , I read the TM doghead posted.
My CTIS was working on the trip home. I had a air problem and the truck wouldn't cut off building air at the correct PSI. I replaced the check valves and rebuilt the air dryer and fixed the issue 100%.
Now when I crank my truck and its...
I think I have engine oil dripping into my filter housing.
Last month I serviced the truck fully, drove it about 60 miles or so in a parade. Then I spent the month sanding and repainting it. (M925A2) . I cranked it today and drove it out of the garage and let it idle for about 20 min. I shut it...
