    Transfercase Question

Hey guys, So i've got this gear driven transfercase that i pulled out of a truck that seemed similar to an M211, as it had nearly the same axles. It also had the 302 inline six but it had a manual transmission. The transfercase has shafts for switching into low range and for the front output...

Help with 5 Ton Wheel Identification

Hey everybody, So I got a set of 5 ton wheels a while back but don't know anything about them. They're a two piece double beadlock lock wheel with 20 studs per wheel. I've attached a pic. I was wondering what trucks these came on and where i could get o-rings and valve stems for them. Any info...

    9.00x20 Tire Question

I've got some 9.00x20 tires on some of the split rims and I'm currently trying to get the tires off of the rims. I'm assuming the bead has to be broken before the lock ring can be taken off. What's the best way to break the bead on one of these tires? I've not had to much luck so far and I...

    Looking for some wheels...

It might be better to post this in the 5 ton section, but i was gonna see if anyone had some 5 ton wheels. I only need four. I'm looking to run some 46 inch XMLs on them. The only catch is that i'm gonna run them on 2 1/2 ton axles so i need the 6 lug pattern. I figured i could recenter them or...

    Brake Question

I looked around some before posting so hopefully this question hasn't already been asked. But one of my rear drums is seized up real bad(this is on a M211 axle by the way). I've used a really big sledge on it with very little success. So are the pads most likely rusted up to the drum? Whats the...

    M211 in Burnsville, NC

I'm posting this up for a friend. He's got what I think to be a M211 that he's gonna have to eventually scrap if nobody wants it. Basically what is left is the banjo axles, frame, and engine. I think he may have even mentioned the engine being rebuilt. But feel free to ask me questions on here...

    Disk Brakes?

Since the drum brakes on the M211 banjo axles sound like they are going to be really expensive to rebuild, has anybody looked into a disk break conversion? Wouldn't it be pretty easy to do if you could find a rotor that would fit? I've just kinda started thinking about it since the wheel...

    M211 Transfer Case

I was reading that the transmission in the M211 was a GM hydramatic so i was wondering if any knew how easy it would be to hook up the transfer case from a M211 to a 70s turbo 400 transmission. And any information on the M211 transfer case would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks Evan
