Yes sir it is at 3:00 when I use the multimeter I get full voltage from the service outlet and at the wire lugs LO, L2, L3, 120v and 240v respectfully. I am also able to adjust voltage with the reostat on the control panel but the voltmeter still only reads 120v and fluctuates when reostat is...
Well I did it again. I bought another generator. This one runs good and puts out power. The hertz gauge works but the voltmeter doesnt. I have power at the 110 outlet and 120 & 240 at the lugs. Has anybody run into this before ? As usual all help is greatly appreciated.
Well I took the injectors out and installed them into my other generator and the problem traveled with them. So now I have to wait till monday afternoon to get the injectors to the shop.

When I took the pump apart it had a very light varnish coating inside . I am going to make a educated guess that my injectors are the same. I will be removing them later today to take to the diesel shop. I hope thats it if not I will pick his brain. I will keep you guys in the loop.

jjb Im over here in South Brunswick same thing happened to me and my neighbor restitched it for me. He does canvas work if you are willing to take a ride. I can ask him if he would do it and how much.

I put it all together it smoked at first than cleared up. I was letting it run without a load while I was cleaning up the tools and it suddenly shut down. It was very hot cooling shutters were wide open. Well tomorrow is another day.

Epitts yes that is the part I found broken also Gimpyrobb hooked me up with a new one. I finally got back to the generator tues afternoon. I let it run under load it still smoked the exhaust actually burned your eyes standing a fair distance away. So I decided to recheck the pump timing guess...
Well I called Onan first thing this morning and the woman that looked up the #s told me she could find 110-0419 but not 147-0043. Well of course I thought I made a mistake and wrote the # down wrong . Well I just got home and yes I was correct with both #s so I call back. I got somebody else...
Well after searching for a while the only part # I came up with was for the insulator 110-0419 . Can anybody else help me with the part numbers for the gasket and copper ring.
