I found a vehicle in another state for sale by a private party and would like to ask for someone in the area to inspect it for me. Where exactly should I be posting this?
I`m guessing some of you know about gasoline. I want to get a 250 gal. farm tank filled with gasoline while prices are low. My question is, do I get summer gas or wait for winter blend? Does anyone know what`s the difference between them? I want to use it all year, this winter and next summer in...
Update: We spent the night camping, then limped the ole girl home in the morning. Made it all the way. Decided since we missed out on camping at Iola we would make the best of it. Grabbed the boat and headed back out to the campground. Thanks for the help everyone!
Thanks for the info. Headed home and saw a campsite so decided to go for it. Camping for the night since we already have everything. Heading the rest of the way home in the morning.
Headed for Iola, Wisc and engine didn't feel right, pulled over and after inspection noticed harmonic balancer is not spinning true, yet the outer ring of the balance is not loose. From my car experience harmonic balancers should spin true. Does anyone know something that I don't? I'm thinking...
I understand that Warthog, but thats why we don't want to use the collector plate. We want to be able to use our truck. :driver:
We just want to make sure what we are doing is legal but that we are not being jacked with what we will be paying each year for tabs.
I should add to this that we did check into the collector plates, the problem is that if you use the vehicle for anything other than driving to a car/truck show when using the collector plates then you can run into some serious problems in this state. :(
I live in Minnesota. I bought a deuce from Wisconsin which seems to be easy going on titles and licenses for trucks. When I went into the local office to transfer the title and get tabs the ladies were all over me with all these questions... How much does it weigh, How much can it carry, How big...
I`ve made up my mind... Ouverson`s it is. And there not far from me. An hour. Finally something for my deuce in my own state. Thanks to all for the input!
Technically the inside tires of tandem axles turn in different radius`s. I`m thinking the difference is so small that unless I drive in circles on pavement there wouldn`t be driveshaft binding between the tandem axles. Would you agree?
I plan on locking all three, with lockouts on front. I have had a Detroit in my m725 since late 80`s with no problems with locking around corners. Not sure about tandem axles though.
My Kaspersky is also flagging the site. I get multiple warnings with each page I go to. Kaspersky is successfully blocking but figured you should know its still happening.
I have spent quite a while on the internet looking for differential lockers and the cheapest I have found are $429 for a Yukon and $510 for an Ouverson. Does anyone know of any other source I should be looking into or better prices somewhere? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
